Data Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design scalable enterprise data architectures across operational, analytical, and cloud platforms.
• Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data integrations.
• Establish architectural, development, modeling, data quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Architect Azure cloud-native solutions and lead migrations, modernization, scalability, performance, and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Partner with business, DevOps, Engineering, Analytics, and Data Governance teams while mentoring team members and influencing long-term data strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, database design, or related roles.
• Experience with cloud data architectures, transactional and analytical systems, data modeling, integration tools, business intelligence, and enterprise-scale data warehouses and data lakes.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, plus modernization, migration, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce data models and Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Advanced SQL certifications or ITIL knowledge.
