Technician, Energetics Assemblies (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Simsbury, Connecticut, United States; full-time role at the manufacturing site

What you will do

• Build, package, assemble, and inspect energetic devices according to manufacturing instructions, drawings, and quality plans.
• Perform coreload analysis on energetic materials while following all safety standards and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate production records, documentation, component inventories, and material stocks.
• Assist engineers with manufacturing process development under written direction.
• Set up and maintain work cells according to 6S principles and provide improvement feedback to engineers and supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Positive, flexible, and energetic approach to work.
• Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice to have

• Assembly experience, including torquing, bonding, cutting, filing, bending, or laser welding.
• Experience using precision scales, graduated cylinders, calipers, or micrometers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
