Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual in Spanish)

Location: Del Rey, California, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: $72,000–$74,000 per year, potentially including a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain HR policies and procedures and recommend improvements to HR processes.
• Process payroll changes, review timecards and schedules, and support wage-and-hour compliance.
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance issues, corrective actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, new-hire orientation, training, and UKG data accuracy.
• Support compensation planning, performance cycles, development conversations, benefits inquiries, and training needs.
• Prepare severance agreements and contribute to employee programs, events, committees, and special projects.

Requirements

• At least two years of progressively responsible HR generalist experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent Spanish and strong bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, HR best practices, and California employment law.
• Experience with talent acquisition strategies, sourcing, applicant tracking systems, and full-cycle recruiting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, problem-solving, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification, supplementary HR training, or equivalent education and experience.
