Director, Design Verification

Location: Daily onsite presence in San Jose, California, United States, five days per week

Salary: $219,000–$351,000 USD per year, plus incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Define and implement SoC verification strategies and methodologies.
• Lead verification teams through successful verification signoffs and first-pass silicon objectives.
• Plan resources across multiple concurrent SoC projects.
• Help define and improve development milestones and project flows.
• Align verification requirements and targets with Architecture, Design, Firmware, and Validation teams.
• Support post-silicon bring-up and debugging.

Requirements

• BE degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; an MS is preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience, preferably in ASIC verification.
• Several years of proven experience managing verification teams.
• Experience with multiple successful tape-outs and complex project schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Expert knowledge of UVM, C++, SystemVerilog, and verification flows and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability.
