Senior Associate, Corporate Finance

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States. Full-time onsite role with work involving on-site equipment.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex corporate and middle-market lending relationships and prepare detailed credit memoranda.
• Analyze client financial statements, industries, and macroeconomic conditions.
• Design and recommend loan structures, covenant formulas, risk ratings, and mitigating actions.
• Monitor portfolio risk, policy exceptions, and recurring relationship reviews.
• Develop financial forecasts and enterprise valuations.
• Review legal documentation, support loan syndication materials, and participate in client and sell-side activities.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of credit underwriting experience in corporate finance preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another business-related field preferred.
• Ability to perform detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis independently.
• Ability to recommend and defend credit structures and risk ratings to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of Federal and state regulations, bank policies, and corporate lending documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and department-specific software.
