Commercial Banking FP&A Central Team Manager

What you will do

• Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning for the Commercial Banking segment.
• Oversee recurring and ad hoc reporting on earning assets, deposits, revenue, expenses, capital, liquidity, and profitability.
• Direct financial performance reviews and produce executive-ready materials, dashboards, presentations, and management updates.
• Analyze actual results against forecasts, budgets, prior periods, and strategic targets, translating variances into business insights.
• Lead business case and strategic investment analysis, including governance and tracking against approved assumptions.
• Manage and develop the FP&A Central Team while leading reporting simplification, automation, standardization, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Seven or more years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, business analytics, or a related financial services role.
• Experience leading teams, workstreams, or cross-functional priorities.
• Strong financial, accounting, analytical, executive communication, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, large-data analysis, reconciliation, and trend analysis experience.
• Experience with commercial banking, financial services, core FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, performance reviews, or management reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Essbase, Smart View, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar planning and business intelligence platforms.
• Prior formal people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience enhancing dashboards, forecast templates, process documentation, financial controls, or governance routines.
• Interest in AI-enabled productivity, reporting simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.
