Senior Investment Professional, Private Placements

Location: Columbus, Ohio — residence required within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza; hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Salary: $153,000–$255,000 annually.

What you will do

• Research, trade, and manage private placement and fixed income portfolios.
• Evaluate privately placed debt transactions, including borrowers, credit, structures, deal documents, participants, and relative value.
• Identify suitable market opportunities and monitor portfolio securities across sectors.
• Perform portfolio surveillance, performance attribution, and risk mitigation planning.
• Develop streamlined portfolio reports, lead data management, and complete ad hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with departments on relative value, sector analysis, asset class dynamics, and portfolio strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree or CFA is desirable.
• 8–12 years of investment experience.
• Strong understanding of fixed income, financial concepts, economics, and capital markets.
• Exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Office skills, plus familiarity with databases and data analysis applications.
• Proficiency with fixed income analytics applications and the ability to lead or influence people and strategic initiatives.

Nice to have

• Project finance or infrastructure investing experience.
• Experience managing people or leading teams.
