Associate Director- Portfolio Management- Asset Backed Finance

What you will do

• Support diligence and underwriting for new asset-backed finance transactions.
• Review financial statements, projection models, cash flow models, and other data to support credit decisions.
• Assess business models, industries, cash flow, capitalization, sensitivities, risks, and mitigants.
• Maintain the existing portfolio through covenant monitoring, financial spreading, risk ratings, and quarterly risk reviews.
• Manage periodic fundings and prepare portfolio tear sheets for risk reviews.
• Conduct research, participate in due diligence meetings, and present concise findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or comparable experience at Huntington Bank or another financial institution.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial credit analysis or portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or independently with a high level of professionalism.

Nice to have

• Completion of a formal credit training program.
• Experience with financial modeling.
