Experienced PIP Claims Representative

Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States; in-person initial training, then hybrid work from home up to 3 days per week

What you will do

• Investigate and assemble facts for personal injury protection claims.
• Determine policy coverage, evaluate losses, and pay benefits owed.
• Review medical bills, authorize payments, and ensure accurate and timely processing under the Michigan No Fault Statute.
• Work toward claim resolution and attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when required.
• Support agents, policyholders, and other stakeholders through phone and mail communications.
• Conduct investigations involving complex claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of insurance claims handling experience, preferably in PIP claims or a related area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues, organize and interpret data, and manage multiple assignments with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
