Quality Inspector (12 Hour Days)

Location: Onsite in Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States. Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:15 PM, including every other weekend. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Coordinate and execute quality objectives with the Quality Lead, Operational Quality Manager, and other employees.
• Inspect, test, and measure materials, products, and work against defined specifications.
• Use rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, force gauges, CMM, and optical gauging machines to verify product dimensions.
• Review and approve lot documentation in line with procedures and good documentation practices.
• Analyze test data, collect samples, and compare product characteristics against approved standards.
• Document nonconformances, rework instructions, deviations, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a quality-related role.
• Ability to use gauges, inspection fixtures, and leak-testing equipment.
• Ability to use productivity and Statistical Process Control software.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb and stand for approximately 75% of the shift.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
