Quality Assistant / Inspector (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Operate CMM equipment and perform dimensional inspections.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and source inspections at supplier locations as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Organize and maintain inspection areas and use inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Move materials and support material handling activities.
• Document and communicate inspection results while supporting production and quality goals.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to supplier locations for source inspections.
• Ability to lift 20–50 pounds.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to assist where needed.

Nice to have

• Experience operating CMM equipment.
• Experience with incoming inspection and quality inspection processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and inspection procedures.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
