Assistant Financial Controller (7 month Fixed Term Contract)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for WNS on outsourced accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
• Monitor service levels, KPIs, escalations, governance frameworks, approval workflows, and Delegation of Authority requirements.
• Oversee invoicing, cash application, collections, invoice processing, payment execution, and aged receivables and payables.
• Partner with Sales and the Group Credit Manager on credit risk, credit limits, credit holds, disputes, and escalations.
• Ensure AR/AP subledger integrity, reconciliation to the general ledger, purchase-order matching, and accurate month-end close.
• Support audits and maintain standard operating procedures with embedded internal controls.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of AR/AP processes, controls, and reconciliations.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, Oracle, or AX.
• Ability to work from Mississauga, Canada in a full-time role.

• Experience managing outsourced, shared-services, or BPO relationships.
