TL;DR
Program Management Analyst, Senior (Aviation/Defense): Analyzing requirements, budgets, schedules, and acquisition data for aircraft, weapon, and other DoD programs with an accent on life-cycle management, documentation, and program status tracking. Focus on evaluating program objectives, supporting change control and data management, and delivering analysis and planning for complex aviation and ship systems.

Location: Patuxent River, Maryland, United States; onsite support for a program office at Naval Air Station Patuxent River

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

  • Apply analytic techniques to evaluate program and project objectives.
  • Analyze requirements, program status, budgets, and schedules.
  • Perform management, technical, and business case analyses.
  • Collect, organize, interpret, and report data related to aircraft, weapon, and project acquisition programs.
  • Track program and project status, schedules, documentation, change control, and data management.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to complete a full government security background investigation are required.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Ten years of experience supporting DoD program management, technical analysis, or business analysis related to aviation or ship systems acquisition and life-cycle management.
  • At least six years of the required experience must involve analysis and planning.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, business management, finance, accounting, or a related technical discipline, or an accepted combination of education and additional experience.
  • Strong analytics, documentation, communication, customer relations, Microsoft Office, and program-level briefing skills.
