TL;DR
Human Resources Coordinator (HR Operations): Supporting the employee lifecycle across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, compliance, and workforce reporting with an accent on multi-site HR operations and employee support. Focus on coordinating HRIS records, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, workforce analytics, training programs, and cross-functional initiatives across industrial locations.

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Primarily office-based, with regular interaction in warehouse, production, and industrial environments; travel between company locations may be required.

What you will do

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, interview scheduling, offer letters, pre-employment screenings, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and supervisors at assigned locations, supporting policies, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and employee relations.
  • Maintain personnel files, HRIS records, organizational charts, HR calendars, employee communications, and employment documentation.
  • Coordinate performance reviews, compensation and bonus administration, open enrollment, recognition programs, policy acknowledgments, and other recurring HR programs.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards covering recruiting, headcount, turnover, attendance, training, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Safety, Finance, and Operations on audits, organizational changes, acquisitions, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of Human Resources experience, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and confidential information handling.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Dayforce experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, time management, analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to walk production floors, travel between locations as needed, occasionally travel for HR initiatives, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or another HR certification, or progress toward certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, recycling, or other multi-site environments.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
