Field Service Technician (Amazon OIN9, Greenfield, IN)

Location: Greenfield, Indiana, United States; onsite at the customer location

Pay rate: $24.50–$25.50 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain and service fuel cell systems installed in electric lift trucks at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, evaluations, preventative maintenance, retrofits, and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide emergency customer support and coordinate tools, equipment, and parts purchasing.
• Troubleshoot and maintain high-pressure hydrogen storage, delivery, and fueling systems as required.
• Report breakdowns, complete service logs and incident reports, and maintain inventory and site documentation.
• Communicate with customer personnel, hydrogen suppliers, and regional service representatives while enforcing field safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• At least three years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance and work independently.
• Mechanical aptitude, technical problem-solving ability, strong communication skills, and effective time management.
• Computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; a standard set of personal tools is required.
