Manufacturing Technician Bench 1st Shift M-F 6am to 2pm (P)

Location: Office/site only in Gibsonton, Florida, United States; first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Set up and operate benching procedures on castings using die grinders, tool belts, buffing wheels, blast cabinets, and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform blasting, belting, grinding, and other surface-preparation operations according to production specifications.
• Prepare castings for visual inspection and maintain exceptional part quality.
• Use Mercury to verify serial numbers, adjust machines, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production quality.
• Perform improvement analysis and basic or defined maintenance with maintenance technicians or external service providers.
• Complete cross-training and other assigned production duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience using hand tools.
• Ability to perform metric-system math and read engineering instructions.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain any required export license and work with export-controlled technology under U.S. export control law.

Nice to have

• Background in plastics or ceramics extrusion, or injection/blow molding.
• Experience with inspection equipment such as calipers and pin gauges.
