CMM Programmer Metrology

What you will do

• Develop, validate, and maintain CMM programs for the corporate metrology lab and global manufacturing locations.
• Program PolyWorks 3D scanning workflows for part inspection, reverse engineering, and dimensional reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams on measurement strategies and inspection plans.
• Support and train inspectors in operating CMM and 3D scanning programs and interpreting dimensional reports.
• Troubleshoot measurement issues, program errors, and system deviations.
• Maintain documentation and revision control while supporting improvements in measurement efficiency and repeatability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience programming CMMs, preferably with PC-DMIS.
• Experience with PolyWorks, 3D scanning, and point-cloud inspection.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, metrology principles, and dimensional analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Strong communication, training, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
