Adult Health Clinical Nursing Instructor (Nursing Education)

Location: Arlington, VA, USA; in-person teaching at assigned clinical locations in the Arlington area.

Salary: $1,120–$7,245 per campus assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach and supervise Bachelor of Science in Nursing students in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
• Connect classroom and simulation learning with real-world patient care.
• Plan clinical experiences, assignments, and skills-based learning activities.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Coordinate with clinical-site personnel on policies, procedures, expectations, and student issues.
• Support curriculum implementation, assessment, retention efforts, regulatory compliance, and college development.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Virginia.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience in the area of instruction within the last five years.
• Residence within reasonable proximity to Arlington, VA, with availability to teach at assigned clinical locations.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Teaching or precepting experience.
• Completed MSN degree.
