Senior Claims Advocate- P&C

Location: Hybrid role based in the Los Angeles or Newport Beach office, with an in-office requirement twice per week. Local travel may be required periodically.

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 annual base pay, excluding bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Support clients with reporting and management of Property & Casualty claims across multiple industries and risk profiles.
• Interpret P&C policies, determine applicable coverage, and coordinate notification with insurers.
• Act as a liaison between clients, carriers, adjusters, attorneys, claimants, producers, and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve coverage issues, negotiate settlements, monitor claims through resolution, and participate in carrier claim reviews.
• Advise clients on claim trends, loss drivers, coverage considerations, and claim management strategies.
• Maintain claim files and agency management system records while mentoring colleagues and supporting team priorities when appropriate.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of Property & Casualty claims experience with a broker, insurance carrier, or third-party administrator.
• Experience with P&C coverage forms, claims processes, and industry practices.
• Valid P&C Brokers License.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive situations.
