Claims Program Manager – Spinnaker

Location: Austin, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Morristown, New Jersey; or San Jose, California, United States

Salary: $120,000–$150,250 per year for the Morristown, NJ location; compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, education, location, business needs, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Oversee claims handling for assigned programs in line with claims guidelines, coverage intent, regulatory requirements, and service expectations.
• Monitor TPA performance, including timeliness, reserving accuracy, claim quality, and corrective action plans.
• Conduct file reviews and quality audits, analyze claims data and KPIs, and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support claims guideline maintenance, new program onboarding, TPA setup, workflows, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare stewardship, performance, reinsurance, and regulatory reports and documentation.
• Act as a routine point of contact for TPAs and collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, finance, legal, and program stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of claims handling or program oversight experience.
• Strong understanding of claims fundamentals and familiarity with multi-state regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and claims systems.
• Ability to support coverage analysis, reserving, litigation management, regulatory compliance, audits, and complex claims work.

Nice to have

• Experience working with TPAs, MGAs, delegated authority programs, program business, or a fronting carrier environment.
• Exposure to reinsurance reporting.
• Industry designations such as AIC, CPCU, or ARM.
