Data Governance Lead (Data Governance & Privacy)

Location: Hybrid at or near Alexandria, Virginia, across the Mid-Atlantic Region, working on and off the client site. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Establish enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, and stewardship practices.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal data policies, privacy safeguards, and records management regulations.
• Manage data stewardship activities and support governance councils.
• Enhance data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and business intelligence.
• Support integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools for federal human capital modernization.
• Coordinate stakeholders and deliver measurable, compliant program-support outcomes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or data; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with data governance and policy development.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required; H-1B and TN visa sponsorship are not available.
