Competitive Intelligence Analyst - Data Solutions

Location: US remote, limited to East/Central Time Zones

Salary: $145,000–$173,000 USD base per year

What you will do

• Research and analyze competitors across data management, including products, pricing, go-to-market strategies, and sales tactics.
• Monitor market developments, emerging technologies, and innovation trends across data integration, lakehouses, open table formats, data quality, AI platforms, and agentic technologies.
• Analyze partner ecosystems and identify cooperative positioning opportunities.
• Create competitive intelligence, sales enablement, presentations, white papers, and educational content.
• Conduct win/loss analysis and support sales teams in strategic and tactical discussions.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing to identify competitive gaps, inform product roadmaps, and shape messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data integration, analytics platforms, or related technology markets.
• Strong technical understanding of databases, data warehouses, lakehouses, and open table formats.
• Experience creating competitive intelligence or market analysis for strategy or sales enablement.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, content development, and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of modern AI tools and their application to research and competitive analysis; ability to work across distributed teams.
