Location: Camden, New Jersey, USA; full-time onsite role

Salary: $103,000–$109,300 per year; most qualified candidates receive $103,000.

What you will do

• Participate fully in the day-to-day operations of an Uncommon school through a structured leadership fellowship.
• Build capabilities in instructional leadership, teacher development, school culture, and family engagement.
• Provide and apply individualized feedback through classroom observations and leadership activities.
• Develop strong staff culture and manage difficult conversations with staff, students, and families.
• Attend monthly cross-regional professional development and cohort-specific workshops.
• Prepare to co-lead a high-performing school as a future Principal alongside a Director of Operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth and achievement.
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, leading, or managing teachers.
• Strong people management, data analysis, prioritization, systems thinking, and feedback skills.
• Commitment to culturally responsive partnerships with students, teachers, and families.
• Bachelor’s degree and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to hirify.global’ instructional leadership principles and mission.

Nice to have

• Experience teaching core subjects such as Math, ELA, Science, or History.
