Quality Inspector (APU 3 D)

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite. The role requires a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM, including every other weekend. Candidates must be able to establish eligibility to work in the United States.

Salary: $20.00–$26.00 USD per hour, plus a 10% night shift differential.

What you will do

• Inspect, test, and measure materials, products, and work against specifications.
• Read and interpret part drawings, manuals, data, and inspection procedures.
• Use rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, force gauges, CMM, and optical gaging machines to verify product dimensions.
• Collect samples, compare product characteristics with standards, and analyze test data.
• Review and approve lot documentation and mark products with acceptance or rejection status.
• Document nonconformances, rework instructions, and deviations, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in quality.
• Ability to use gauges, inspection fixtures, and leak testing equipment.
• Ability to use productivity software and Statistical Process Control tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for 75% of the shift.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
