Nursing Campus Dean

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA; full-time campus position

What you will do

• Lead and manage the BSN and LPN nursing programs to achieve program outcomes.
• Supervise, recruit, orient, mentor, and develop nursing faculty and staff.
• Oversee curriculum revisions, course delivery, program quality, and systematic program reviews.
• Prepare accreditation materials and reports for programmatic accreditors, professional associations, and Boards of Nursing.
• Support budget preparation, expense monitoring, variance analysis, and resource planning.
• Build partnerships with healthcare organizations, educational institutions, stakeholders, and communities of interest.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state where the campus is located.
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, including coursework in nursing, education, or administration.
• At least two years of administrative experience and two years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
• At least two years of direct patient-care experience as a registered nurse, or equivalent experience determined by the Board.
• Leadership, supervision, planning, budget preparation, communication, consensus-building, and computer-resource skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse people and institutions and commitment to diversity as defined by state law.
