Commercial Strategy Associate (Healthcare)

Location: New York City area, within a 45-minute commute; on-site four days per week

Salary: $106,000–$135,000 annual base compensation. Total cash compensation, including potential bonus, is $117,000–$148,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and develop end-to-end relationships with health plan stakeholders.
• Develop expertise in insurance market contracting and support payor workstreams and new market research.
• Collaborate with Finance, GTM, Legal, Compliance, and Revenue Cycle Management teams to maintain health plan contracts.
• Streamline go-to-market processes, workflows, and tools while supporting the scaling of commercial initiatives.
• Analyze healthcare claims data for competitive analysis and go-to-market strategy.
• Support payor remediation efforts to improve billing practices and revenue collections.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of relevant professional experience, including 1–2 years in investment banking, consulting, or a high-growth startup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Independent, proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be located within a 45-minute commute of New York City and able to work on-site four days per week.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with healthcare analytics.
