Senior Sourcing Specialist (NPD Operations)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end ODM/CM engagement for new product development, from RFP and supplier selection through POC, EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass-production ramp.
• Develop sourcing strategies for new product introductions and lead make-versus-buy and ODM-versus-Nogales assessments.
• Manage supplier capacity, commitments, risks, quality requirements, and resolution of issues that could affect time to market.
• Coordinate sourcing deliverables with Program Management, Product Management, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Legal.
• Negotiate statements of work, NRE, tooling, unit pricing, capacity commitments, and IP ownership.
• Prepare program updates covering costs, risks, decisions, blockers, mitigations, and timelines, and present them to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, sourcing, or logistics.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product development, or related teams.
• Supplier relationship management experience and strong analytical and communication skills.
• Comfort presenting project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of operations, purchasing, finance, manufacturing, transportation, Incoterms, and total cost analysis.
• Experience with SAP ERP, Power BI, and Excel analytical tools.
