Healthcare Assistant Project Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Empire State Building, New York, New York; PM/CM assignments in NYC, Long Island, and Brooklyn

Salary: $79,979.92–$91,405.62 per year

What you will do

• Assist the Project Manager in leading complex, cross-functional healthcare projects and capital programs.
• Represent owner interests and coordinate owners, stakeholders, design professionals, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Support all project phases, including budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move management planning, and closeout.
• Monitor design and construction activities for contractual, quality, safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Develop and maintain budgets, cash flow analyses, cost estimates, schedules, purchase orders, change orders, and invoice reviews.
• Identify risks and liabilities, resolve conflicts, communicate complex issues, and guide less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Recent healthcare experience representing owners on capital programs, facility upgrades, renovations, or related construction projects.
• Experience managing at least $10 million in pharmaceutical, laboratory, healthcare, or related construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, recruit, train, and develop team members and to forecast challenges and define corrective solutions.
• High proficiency with Microsoft applications, including MS Project and SharePoint, plus experience with project management software.
