Location: Sydney, Australia; regular travel across the Sydney North-West region is required

What you will do
- Lead, recruit, retain, develop, and reward approximately 20–40 FTE employee and contract roadside service providers.
- Manage performance and behavioural issues through coaching, counselling, and formal performance management.
- Travel across the patrol network for one-on-one meetings, coaching, operational support, and team engagement.
- Build effective relationships with local union representatives and support daily service delivery.
- Analyse financial and commercial information to identify operational issues and business opportunities.
- Act as the first point of contact for safety incidents and manage quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing service delivery operations in service-based organisations.
- Experience managing diverse field-based teams, preferably in unionised environments and through organisational change.
- Strong team leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to understand and apply technical information and implement strategic plans at the frontline.
- Current and valid NSW Driver’s Licence with a safe driving record.
- A tertiary qualification in a related field or a technical trade qualification is preferred but not essential.
