Assistant Park Manager

Location: Tathra, Australia; onsite role. The successful candidate must live within 5–10 minutes of the park or reside in onsite staff accommodation.

What you will do

• Support the Park Manager with the day-to-day operation of the holiday park and delivery of guest experiences.
• Coordinate grounds and maintenance activities, future planning, contractors, preventative maintenance, and asset improvement projects.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members across park operations.
• Assist with rostering, workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and team development.
• Monitor labour and operating costs, business performance metrics, park upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share responsibility for the after-hours phone and support safety across the park.

Requirements

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in grounds, maintenance, facilities, tourism, hospitality, or a similar operational environment.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check is mandatory.
• Strong organisational, planning, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to balance operational leadership and grounds and maintenance work.
• Commercial awareness, flexibility, energy, and a team-first attitude.
• Passion for guest experience and the ability to build a positive team culture.
