Relief Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Coolangatta, Australia; the role requires extensive and flexible travel across Australian holiday parks and resorts, with onsite assignments and suitable mobile accommodation.

What you will do

• Provide temporary leadership for parks and resorts during manager leave or leadership vacancies.
• Support operational leaders with targeted projects, business priorities, operational reviews, and change initiatives.
• Help properties manage operational challenges, peak demand, workforce planning, costs, and commercial performance.
• Coach and develop team leaders and department managers while building capability across the portfolio.
• Improve guest experience, operational excellence, and adoption of best practices.
• Maintain compliance with safety, legislative, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Experience leading holiday parks, resorts, hotels, or hospitality operations across multiple departments.
• Commercial and financial acumen, with a record of improving team performance and guest satisfaction.
• Experience supporting teams through operational change and challenging situations.
• Strong communication, coaching, stakeholder management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• Current Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR Certification, and a valid Australian Driver Licence are required.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively, plus an own self-contained caravan, motorhome, campervan, or other suitable mobile accommodation for extended onsite stays.
