Batch Weigher/Mixer (Coatings)

Location: 2647 S 96 St, Edwardsville, KS 66111, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Weigh batches according to process orders, including automatic and manual steps.
• Discharge pigments and operate mixers safely according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate and maintain Hockmeyer mills, press-out units, pump filters, canning equipment, and forklifts.
• Clean and maintain machinery according to TPM standards and complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain formula records, including processing times, and support repacking activities.
• Provide samples and adjustment data to quality control as a QC liaison.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 months of related work experience.
• Good mathematics, basic computer, attention-to-detail, attendance, and punctuality skills.
• Availability for the assigned 2nd shift and overtime when required.
• Ability to work actively in multidisciplinary teams and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance background.

Nice to have

• Forklift experience.
• Mixing, mill, or pump filter industry experience.
• Previous ink industry experience.
