Batch Maker - 2nd Shift

Location: 209 Crown Lake Dr SE, Dalton, GA 30721, USA; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

What you will do

• Compound materials in a batch-processing environment according to specified procedures, sequences, and production schedules.
• Locate, verify, and document raw materials and supplies required for each batch.
• Inspect equipment before, during, and after processing and report contamination, repair, or safety concerns.
• Record material consumption, processing steps, discrepancies, and temperature variations on batch tickets.
• Prepare and deliver batch samples to the Quality Control Laboratory and manage reintroduction or remix materials according to instructions.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, equipment, tools, and operating supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a related field.
• Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude, analytical ability, basic mathematical skills, and ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to speak and write English clearly and distinctly.
• Ability to perform physical work, including bending, stooping, stair climbing, reaching, and lifting or carrying materials typically weighing 50 pounds or more.
