Buyer / Procurement Deal Manager (NL)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; office work in Hungary is required, with remote work available only within Hungary. Travel to the Netherlands may be required up to four times per year.

What you will do

• Act as the primary procurement contact for third-party supplier requirements in new business and contract extension deals.
• Manage procurement activities from deal initiation through final customer proposal delivery, including priorities, timelines, and change requests.
• Lead tactical sourcing initiatives, including specification alignment, supplier shortlisting, final supplier selection, contract finalization, and purchase order creation.
• Develop deal-specific procurement solutions with international sourcing and support teams.
• Manage procurement risks, contract transparency, escalations, incidents, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with supply chain, legal, tax, regulatory, and vendor management functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of professional experience, depending on expertise.
• Strong knowledge of IT procurement, especially digital, cloud, software, and hardware procurement.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience managing complex projects, B2B environments, and IT sourcing.
• Willingness to work in the Hungary office and travel to the Netherlands up to approximately four times per year.
