Remote, Clinical Intake Therapist (Oregon)

Location: Remote, Oregon; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Shifts require availability during specified morning, afternoon, or evening Pacific Time hours. Weekends are encouraged.

Salary: $55,000–$67,500 per year at the commencement of employment; final base pay depends on location and experience.

What you will do

• Meet clients upon admission, build rapport, present program information, and identify treatment needs.
• Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for children, teens, young adults, and adults.
• Determine appropriateness for the virtual intensive outpatient program level of care.
• Construct provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM-V criteria and document client information in the electronic medical record.
• Assign treatment team members and group schedules while communicating new admissions to staff.
• Coordinate intake with Admissions, Benefits Verification, Utilization Review, Clinical teams, and external behavioral health referral sources.

Requirements

• Independent licensure is preferred; associate-level clinicians working toward full licensure may be considered.
• Accepted licenses include LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, RPCA, and LMFTA.
• Experience with behavioral health assessments and admissions, and with clients across a wide range of ages, is preferred.
• Work authorization in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
