What you will do

• Provide brief, evidence-based virtual individual and group counseling for low- to moderate-acuity patients with acute mental health conditions.
• Conduct bio-psychosocial evaluations, diagnose conditions, and develop, monitor, and document comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide follow-up care, triage acute illnesses, recommend hospitalization when appropriate, and arrange safe therapeutic outcomes.
• Complete Active-Duty Profiles, Medical Evaluation Board, fitness-for-duty, MSE, TDRL, psychological autopsy, sanity board, and command consultation evaluations as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, military liaisons, and commanders on complex cases.
• Maintain clinical records and case documentation within required timelines while supporting quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited university or professional school.
• Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.
• Two years of postgraduate Clinical Psychologist experience using virtual platforms; candidates with less than two years of virtual-platform experience may be considered.
• Current, active, valid, unrestricted license to practice psychology independently from a U.S. state, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required clinical privileges and credentialing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross.

• Experience working with military populations.
• Virtual health experience outside the Military Health System.
