MEP Coordinator (Mission Critical)

Salary: $99,000–$149,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate MEP planning, installation, startup, and commissioning for assigned projects.
• Support MEP information management during preconstruction and coordinate 3D MEP models.
• Review MEP submittals, develop solutions for MEP-related RFIs, and coordinate installation issues with design engineers and subcontractors.
• Track MEP-related methods of procedure and cutover activities.
• Coordinate startup and commissioning documentation with subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning agents.
• Organize client training and provide guidance on MEP concepts and installation details.

Requirements

• Full-time, on-site position in Los Angeles, California.
• Advanced experience with MEP system installation, BIM modeling, and construction management.
• Experience with PLCs, control systems, process instrumentation, and/or building management systems.
• At least 4 years of experience with large commercial construction projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read plans and specifications, prioritize work independently, and coordinate solutions with engineers and subcontractors.
