What you will do
- Monitor shipments, special loads, high-yield products, and operational KPIs in a 24/7 Cargo Operations Center.
- Track cargo milestones and identify processing gaps or delays to support on-time delivery against SLAs and Cargo IQ standards.
- Investigate service failures and delays, arrange recovery actions, and assess the financial impact of alternative solutions.
- Coordinate with hub, network, commercial, quality, customer, and other operational stakeholders to resolve irregularities.
- Communicate proactively with customers and internal parties about booking changes, delays, and service disruptions.
- Evaluate safety and security risks, make operational decisions, escalate higher-level risks, and support continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in cargo operations and/or cargo customer service.
- High school education; a diploma in logistics, operations management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Understanding of computer airfreight specifications and in-depth knowledge of industry standards and legal regulations.
- Training or experience in DC, AVI, cargo operations, security, or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance expectations.
