Logistics Specialist (Manufacturing)

Operations within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, supporting material movement and finished-goods distribution.

What you will do

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and control commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, permits, and other customs documentation.
• Track shipments end to end, identify delays, and coordinate mitigation actions such as rerouting, expediting, or alternative carriers.
• Align deliveries with warehouse capacity, material staging, and production sequencing.
• Coordinate finished-goods distribution and internal transfers, including packaging, labeling, and handling of sensitive, serialized, or controlled items.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and support continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and accurate ERP/WMS transactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of logistics experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, including international shipments.
• Experience coordinating freight forwarders, carriers, and customs processes in regulated or defense environments.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms and export/import compliance fundamentals.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under time pressure across warehouse and production interfaces.
• Experience in UAE logistics operations and defense-sector requirements is preferred.
• ERP/WMS exposure and disciplined shipment documentation practices are preferred.
