Operations Manager (BESS)

What you will do

• Manage procurement operations for battery energy storage systems, including supplier qualification, pre-production testing, production testing, site testing, and quality assurance.
• Oversee third-party inspection agencies and verify that components meet required specifications and performance parameters.
• Manage production, manufacturing, transportation, storage, and delivery schedules for purchased technologies.
• Ensure bill-of-materials traceability and compliance with lender requirements.
• Manage letters of credit, invoices, payments, cash flow, bank coordination, and special-purpose vehicle payment processes.
• Manage advance, performance, and warranty bonds and support negotiations of technical supply agreement requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in contracts and purchasing within a large organization.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of financial, legal, and corporate responsibility matters.
• Strong communication, research, analytical, planning, organizing, and supplier negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize actions and manage a diverse team.
