Transit Associate (Logistics)

Location: Full-time, office-based role in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing cargo movements across sea, air, and road transport.
• Manage shipment documentation, customs transit requirements, records, and operational reporting.
• Monitor shipments, resolve operational issues and deviations, and communicate status updates.
• Review freight and service invoices, support insurance claims, and handle transport administration.
• Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, logistics providers, internal stakeholders, and Global Transport and Trade & Customs teams.
• Support audits, compliance controls, risk identification, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of international shipping processes and customs documentation and formalities.
• Strong administration, documentation management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Structured, solution-oriented, self-driven approach with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and availability to work full-time from the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP Transportation Management System.
• Additional local language skills.
