Sr. Logistics Executive

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end customs clearance for import shipments and review shipping documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate import logistics schedules, shunting transporters, deliveries, and pick-ups.
• Plan material requirements from production schedules and create purchase requisitions and purchase orders in SAP.
• Track supplier deliveries, transfer purchasing documents to Finance, and maintain accurate import records and reports.
• Manage origin certifications, MIDA duty exemptions, SST exemption applications, and SIRIM applications for demonstration equipment.
• Monitor logistics supplier KPIs, negotiate rates, review contracts and SLAs, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in import-export processes.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, customs requirements, and customs brokerage.
• Expertise with customs forms and procedures, including K1, K2, K8/9, ZB, and Free Trade Agreement documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with LMW setup.
• Experience using SAP.
