What you will do

  • Prepare import and export customs declarations and maintain complete, accurate shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate freight forwarders, courier services, transport providers, and customs agents to arrange shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status, resolve delivery delays and customs clearance issues, and update logistics records and schedules.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, purchasing, and customer service teams to maintain smooth material flow and on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory movements, perform reconciliations and cycle counts, and support stock takes and inventory audits.
  • Review freight invoices, evaluate logistics providers, prepare performance reports, and identify process and cost improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistics or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documentation, and international trade procedures.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and logistics software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, coordination, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Malaysian Customs regulations and import/export procedures.
  • Experience with LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) operations.
