What you will do
- Oversee inventory control systems, monitor stock levels, and prevent shortages or overstocks.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, identify discrepancies, and improve inventory turnover.
- Manage warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Supervise receiving, picking, packing, kitting, and other daily warehouse activities.
- Implement warehouse safety procedures and monitor compliance.
- Monitor labor, utilities, and equipment maintenance expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Determine kit requirements, gather components, assemble and pack kits, label containers, and verify accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in warehousing or related industries.
- Degree in warehousing or a related field.
- Specialization in logistics, supply chain, or an equivalent field is preferred.
- Analytical approach and exposure to planning work.
- Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
