ILS2: Logistics Analyst (Contingency)

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and report logistics and sustainment data covering supply chain operations, transportation, inventory, equipment accountability, and readiness.
• Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, performance metrics, and data visualizations for operational decision-making.
• Monitor equipment readiness, maintenance status, inventory levels, and Care of Supplies in Storage activities to identify trends and issues.
• Recommend improvements based on logistics performance analysis and support readiness assessments and sustainment evaluations.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, logistics and maintenance personnel, operational units, and contractors to resolve issues and share information.
• Maintain logistics records, documentation, data repositories, configuration tracking, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• College or university degree in business, supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or a related combination of education and experience.
• Typically 4–7 years of relevant experience; an advanced degree may qualify candidates at entry level.
• Experience supporting logistics operations, supply chain activities, inventory management, maintenance operations, or readiness reporting.
• Knowledge of data analysis, performance measurement, operational reporting, and logistics support processes.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and data visualization products; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD, USINDOPACOM, logistics, sustainment, maintenance, or contingency operations programs.
• Knowledge of COSIS, equipment accountability, readiness reporting, and maintenance management.
• Experience with logistics information systems, asset management systems, maintenance tracking applications, business intelligence tools, or data visualization platforms.
• Readiness assessment or sustainment planning experience.
• Prior military service or military logistics experience.
