Director, Product Management - Connectivity-Led Experiences (Hybrid - Oak Brook, IL)

Location: Hybrid in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States; travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $167,500–$269,875 base pay per year, plus benefits, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the connectivity-led experience strategy across the product portfolio and myQ ecosystem.
• Define connectivity principles, platform decisions, partnership posture, and experience standards across products.
• Own the end-to-end product surface across hardware, firmware, cloud, mobile, dealer and technician tools, and services.
• Define ease-of-use metrics and lead the Voice of Customer process through field visits, ride-alongs, advisory boards, and trade events.
• Govern roadmaps, backlog prioritization, release sequencing, and stage-gate decisions across multiple workstreams.
• Lead and grow a Product Management team while aligning Engineering, Design, Sales, Channel, Marketing, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Engineering, Marketing, and/or Product Management, including management of a multi-category product portfolio.
• Experience working in matrixed and Agile software development environments.
• Understanding and practical experience with Agile Scrum methodologies or comparable tools.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Business Administration.
• Experience managing hardware and software offerings and P&L.
• Voice of Customer program experience and end-to-end ownership of a connected product.
• Experience building or upgrading a Product Management team.
• Comfort interacting with highly technical development teams.
