Principal Product Manager, Video Collaboration Hardware

Location: San Jose, California, USA. The role includes less than 25% domestic and international travel.

Annual base salary: $168,000–$250,000.

What you will do

• Define product requirements for video collaboration hardware and accessories based on customer and partner needs.
• Shape portfolio strategy, conceive new products, and manage products throughout their lifecycle.
• Own business cases covering market opportunity, value proposition, competition, financial viability, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with industrial design, engineering, operations, finance, marketing, sales enablement, and leadership from concept through launch and lifecycle management.
• Conduct customer meetings and global beta testing of pre-production samples.
• Coordinate platform certification, resolve field issues, and represent hirify.global at customer, partner, trade, and online events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video collaboration or unified communications.
• 15+ years of experience defining and delivering products for IT teams from SMBs to global enterprises.
• 10+ years of hardware-focused product management experience, ideally with video or audio products based on Android or similar embedded systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer empathy, technical problem-solving ability, hands-on approach, and adaptability across factory, tradeshow, and boardroom environments.
