Director, Product Management, AI Support (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of two days per week from an HPE office. The compensation information applies to the United States of America, including California.

Salary: USD 194,000–412,500 annual base salary in California, with possible variable incentives.

What you will do

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for AI-powered support products and experiences.
• Develop predictive support, automated troubleshooting, knowledge recommendations, agent-assist, copilots, and autonomous support workflows.
• Improve customer satisfaction, MTTR, resolution speed, case deflection, support productivity, and operational costs.
• Partner with engineering, data science, UX, support operations, and customer success teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Own the full product lifecycle from customer discovery and roadmap prioritization through launch, adoption, and continuous optimization.
• Use customer insights, support analytics, and AI performance metrics to measure outcomes and guide investment decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in a related field and 10+ years in product management, product strategy, or product leadership.
• Experience defining product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes for enterprise software or cloud-based solutions.
• Experience leading people managers and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong technology foundation, business acumen, communication skills, and executive presentation abilities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, including WLAN, LAN, WAN, and support.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or MBA in computer science or engineering.
• Experience leading AI, machine learning, generative AI, automation, or intelligent support strategies at enterprise scale.
• Experience with enterprise software, cloud platforms, or SFDC.
• Experience leading large-scale digital, AI, or support transformation initiatives.
• Experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations.
