Principal Product Manager, Video Collaboration Hardware

Location: San Jose, California, USA; global role with less than 25% domestic and international travel.

Annual base salary: $168,000–$250,000, with potentially higher compensation based on business need, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Define product requirements and deliver new video collaboration products and accessories based on customer and partner needs.
• Shape portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, value propositions, and go-to-market plans.
• Own the internal business case, including market opportunity, competitive environment, financial viability, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with industrial design, system engineering, operations, finance, marketing, sales enablement, and development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead global beta testing of pre-production samples and resolve field issues with support and development teams.
• Represent hirify.global for Business at trade, channel, customer, and online events while aligning major decisions through a stage-gate process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video collaboration or unified communications.
• 15+ years of experience defining and delivering products for IT teams ranging from SMBs to global enterprises.
• 10+ years of product management experience focused on hardware, ideally video or audio products based on Android or similar embedded systems.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Customer empathy, technical problem-solving ability, hands-on approach, and comfort working with factories, trade shows, and executive stakeholders.
