Site Safety Manager (Construction)

Location: Vienna, VA, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $105,000–$157,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage overall safety and environmental support for a local 1–2 year construction project.
• Ensure employees, trade partners, visitors, and vendors comply with company policies, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Partner with the project team and Regional Safety leadership to meet or exceed client safety requirements.
• Coordinate, manage, and conduct safety education programs, meetings, and planning activities.
• Review, audit, maintain, and provide required client safety documentation and statistics.
• Supervise and mentor safety personnel assigned to the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 5–10 years of experience.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards.
• Strong communication, planning, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, and work on uneven ground as required by the role.

Nice to have

• Construction OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Additional safety designations and continuing industry training.
